Joe Pa for the most part played horrible competition and finished with 409 wins in 45 years. That is exactly 9 wins per year. That is less than the great Phil. He was awarded a couple of National Titles in that 45 years. We had 1 in 16. But, the great one ran a clean ship and did not embarrass the University in anyway shape or form during his magical run. On the other hand, it maybe many decades before Penn State recovers from this.
to you Coach Fulmer. You won bigger than almost any other and you did it in a clean and respectable manner.
