I think I remember Les saying he wouldn't mind a rematch after the game.

You are correct Shimmy.  I don't think LSU fears anyone.

Bama fan is pulling for LSU to beat the Hawgs on Friday. If Bama takes care of the Barn, and LSU handles Arky, then LSU goes to the SECCG against the Dawgs. Bama sits back and rests and goes to the NCG. LSU has to play an additional game and risk injury.

Losing at home paid off. Who woulda thunk it?

Les, be careful what you ask for. Besides most of you 's want a playoff and you probably would end up with a crap team playing for the NC game with that system and this matchup assures us of the 2 best teams in a NC game. I would prefer a matchup with somebody other than Bama because they have already had their shot, but that is just me. No Bama prejudice intended and I do believe they are the two best teams. Just saying if the regular season is a playoff and everygame is important they should be eliminated from consideration.

I agree Plumb Updykes had their shot at home no Les. When you look back at who Bammer actually beat it looks rather soft. Arkansas as well.

The only way Bama's schedule would've been softer was if they played some of those marsh mellow ACC pretenders.

The PAC 12 championship game pits 6-6 UCLA against 10-2 Oregon. Pitiful
Had USC not been on probation the game would be a rematch.

The ACC title game: Va Tech vs Clemson........rematch

The Big 12 minus isn't having a conference game are they?

The Big 10 title game Wisconsin vs MSU = rematch

Who pray tell in the ACC would beat Bama this year or LSU for that matter?????????
That's what i thought..........(crickets chirping)..........

Va Tech had their chance and lost to Clemson and now they have a rematch with the same team who has now lost 3 games with a beatdown from the SEC east #2. The ACC has no resume.

Boise state lost to a 9-2 TCU but did manage to beat the SEC # 3 east champion. They had their shot.

Okie state lost to Iowa state. Enuff said. They had their shot.

Oklahoma lost to a .500 Texas Tech squad. Enuff said. They had their shot.

Putting the Houston Cougars against LSU just because they were unbeaten would be like 13-0 Marshall playing UT instead of FSU in '98.

It really doesn't matter what punk UTjr fans, ACC fans or OKie lite fans think. The BCS is set up to match #1 vs #2. At this point, it is LSU/Bama. Okie Lite may jump bama in the polls and BCS formula IF they throttle Oklahoma.
