Here's the list starter.  I got nothing.....  I can't even look over to socialist communist Europe.  They just gave the banks $500 billion in free money, while pushing through austerity for the masses.  But maybe you conservatives can start a list.

Laying down the smack on smug "Progressives"

Well, for one.  Cultural Marxism has permeated our educational system.  Public schools deemphasize objectivity and the logic skills required to objectively weigh anything, instead teaching children to emotionally "process" the world through a "tolerance" filter -- it is purely ideological indoctrination.  Collectivism is taught at a very young age, and social justice is the point they drive home.  It makes every generation post-baby boomer think of everything in terms of "I" or "me" and getting what they're owed.  Our fathers and grandfathers by contrast were get up off the dirt types who made things happen.  Don't like your circumstances? Then work your way out of them.  That has been "taught" and "bred" out of our society.

Point #2....    The Agenda 21.  Municipalities have been adopting this all around the country, and in the process muting individuals property rights.  I can't think of a more Marxist issue in our nation than denying people their property rights and what they can do on their property.  This single movement that is moving at an alarming rate both locally and nationally may be the single biggest threat to our nation's sovereignty, the Constitution and individual rights.

Case in point.  Recently in Houston County, MN the people started pushing back.  Trying to reclaim their property rights from the over-reaching, Agenda 21 driven county commission.  To which the County Commissioner gave us this little jewel.  “I know we’ve sworn to uphold the Constitution but it is an old document; times have changed,” stated Commissioner Tom Bjerke.  Read the sordid details here: http://www.theblaze.com/stories/minnesota-land-right-fight-commissioner-calls-constitution-old-document/

I have no idea what any of that actually means.  For example, what is "collectivism?"  Is that like unions?  We used to have a third of the workforce in a collective organization called a union.  Good or bad?  It's going the other way, so....

Tolerance isn't actually a bad word.  In our fathers and grandfathers time, we had Jim Crow laws in the South.  We could go back to that, and allow kids to beat up the homos and RJs, etc.

What all of that is NOT though is evidence.  It's an opinion backed by nothing.

I can't really argue this point.  I read the story and it's something to do with zoning, which is pretty standard stuff.  You can't tell from the story what was at issue, except people didn't like any restriction on their property use.  It's like so much of what I read about Agenda 21.  There is lots of apocalyptic language, but I can never really tell exactly what the government is doing in advancing Agenda 21 that isn't standard issue zoning arguments.

But if we have none of that, you could have a pig farm/nudist colony/commune/half way house for drug addicts/house full of 37  migrant workers, with 10 cars, all parked in the yard, move into your neighborhood.  OK with that?  If not then the question isn't zoning, but what kind is acceptable in a particular town or region, which depends on the folks elected.  Generally, the folks are elected by the big money boys, not the local communist party.

I thought a bigger decision against property rights was the Kelo decision, which gave governments the right to seize your property and hand it over to a plutocrat to develop, all they needed to know was you weren't doing enough to maximize property values and tax revenues, which is of course proof of my point and not that the communists have won.

Shortest answer:

Yeah, he cut your taxes.  A big time communist.

And, a picture is not evidence, of course.

NC, did you never read the writings of Karl Marx? Collectivism.  You know, another name for Communism.  No personal property, all justice is for the "good" of the public body, etc.

We now live in a society that demands social justice, and that all property should be distributed evenly through the community.  a lot of the misguided rage of the OWS movement is rooted in Collectivism.  It's not so much about the elite looting the 99% as much as it is everyone should be entitled to divvy things up evenly among the masses.  That is Communism.

Collectivist ideals often lead to:

Loss of individual rights to an ever growing and powerful state.
A degradation of moral agency.
An overall reduction in the standard of living.
Malnutrition and death due to the inherent inability of “planned” economies to meet market demand.
Social disintegration and the perpetuation of armed conflict.
Totalitarianism.

Now look around in America NC, and tell me you don't see all the things on that list.  Totalitarianism is in the pipeline and is coming.

NC, regarding the agenda 21...  I know I've posted this video before, but I'll do it again.  From the mouth of a progressive, how agenda 21 is being adopted in the USA and how it will eventually rob us of our rights globally.

It's long, but it's worth watching.

How your community is implementing AGENDA 21

NC Vol,

Don't expect real evidence from Drive-By D-Fens. As we have seen for years, world view, opinions, and beliefs only matter to far right wingnuts like OMG, evidence be damned. Facts and reality are irrelevant.

Is that anything like the zoning laws we have in Knox County?

MRM, it goes way beyond zoning.  It has to do with sustainable development, zoning, green construction, use etc.  The whole of the document is aimed towards uniting the globe under the UN in a grand plan of sustainable development.  Basically, the elite want to cram the vast majority of us into tenement cities, peddling around on bicycles, and reducing carbon footprints.  Agenda 21 dictates consumption and land use on every level.

Personal rights and land rights have to be eroded before it can be fully implemented.  But if you get into the details of it, you can see it's pure evil.
