Hitchens uses reason and logic, anathema to religious fanatics and institutional religions like Islam and Christianity, to completely destroy creationism and basic myths from the Koran and the Bible and expose religion for what it is. Pay particular attention to what he says about Christians' belief that Jesus is the "salvation" of the world and the only way to "heaven" about 9:30 into the video.

Man created God(s), not the other way around. Hitchens is right.

A fool hath said in his heart "there is no God".

All creation proclaims His glory.

Wow, quoting the Bible to prove the Bible is correct. That's using the ole brain.

In spite of the long and sordid history of religion (wars, killings, slavery, treating women like property, etc.) throughout history, for me, the biggest evil of all is that rational, intelligent human beings are willing to completely abandon all logic and thought processes in order to believe whatever nonsense any particular religion sells. Your post is an example.

For ANYONE to claim that anything is immoral, we must first have some standard and agreement that there is such a thing as morality.... It's easy to make a blanket statement about others beliefs and claim them as "immoral" but IF you really want to get down to where the "rubber meets the road" it serves us better to ask why or HOW you or I or even Christopher Hitchens is/are Immoral.

By now we all know of the tragic death of the likeable Christopher Hitchens.  It is a sad day for those who were close to him, and our thoughts and prayers will be with them.

There are two ways you and I can meet God.  The first is to repent and trust alone in Jesus.  The second way is to wait until you pass on.  The old adage of death “He went to meet his Maker” is true.

On hearing of Mr. Hitchens passing, Richard Dawkins sent out a tweet acknowledging that God exists:

“Christopher Hitchens, finest orator of our time, fellow horseman, valiant fighter against all tyrants including God.”

Of course, none of us know what Mr. Hitchens did in his last moments of time.  He may have turned from his sins and trusted in Jesus.  God only knows.

Whatever the case, never forget that acknowledging the existence of God doesn’t mean an entrance into Heaven, but (as the Bible so clearly teaches), repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, does.

Why would you yourself abandon logic to attack someone for abandoning it? Your post makes a logical fallacy in that it is arbitrary and fallacious. Do you really think all religion calls for people to abandon logic? Can you prove that statement. What can you take from the tenets of Christianity to verify your claims.
A religion must never be judged by its abuse. People abuse money, drugs, authority, etc. Are you going to lay aside the use of money, medicine and the legal system because they have been abused? Of course not.
