Okay doorknobs, here is what EVERY assistant college football coach dreams of. They want stability. Great place to live. Great facilities and resources. Be able to raise their family in one place. Basically to hook their wagon to a stud horse. The majority of the UT assistants got to live and raise their family in Knoxville, great facilities, great resources, win 9.5 games per year and to hook themselves to a stud Hall of Fame coach in Phil. That is why they had stability that allowed UT to have the greatest era in their history or future. As soon as Hammy begins to destroy the program, EVERY ASSISTANT EXCEPT ONE THAT YEAR LANDS AT A FBS BCS LEVEL POSITION!!! The one that did not get something right away was in his 60's and he was hired by Arkansas a year later and is there now. Those of you that said no one wants our coaches, or we have bad coaches, or coaches want to move along.....are idiots and do not know. But hey, you know now and you watch this spin over there to explain why the rats are jumping ship.

Da Vicky how come nobody wants Fat Phil? He'll go down as a Dennis Erickson type but with only one national title. At least Erickson was able to land some jobs.

Cooper was head coach at THREE 1-A programs (Tulsa, Arizona State, OSU). Outside of Tennessee nobody has ever been interested in Fulmer.

It's pretty bad when Kansas is more interested in a guy who was fired from his only college job (as head coach) and has a bad reputation as hard to get along with than Phil.
