Are you still going to be a fan of the Colts when the push Manning aside for Luck?

There is no way they sit around until March 8th and allow Peyton to bank $28 mil with his situation so uncertain.

My wife has already said if Peyton plays for another team that she'll pull for the team he goes to. If he retires, she's contemplating pulling for the Broncos because of Tebow.

I don't see what the big deal is people picking teams based on one player. Don't most people do that at one point in their life? I became a Lakers fan because Magic Johnson was drafted by them, loved him in college. A lot of kids became fans of the Yankees because of Mickey Mantle.

There isn't anything wrong with liking a team just for one player.  A lot of people in East TN have invested a lot of money in Colts gear.  This situation is a bit unique because its almost like the fans in Indy can't wait to push Peyton out the door and roll out the red carpet for Andrew Luck.  I don't think that even the fans in Green Bay were ready to shove Farve aside so easily.  Then again, I don't think anybody really had a clue discount double check would be so good either.

Rocky Top works for the Colts.  Wonder what his opinion is?

If I were a Tennessee fan, I would be a Houston Texans / Arian Foster fan going forward.

Foster is having a really good pro career, but it was very difficult to like him as a player while he was at UT.

Not a Colts fan but a Peyton fan.  After seeing what happened this season Peyton Manning should never ever hear any criticism again. Colts averaged well over 10 wins a year while Manning was quarterbacking them. The Colts without Manning were the worst team in the NFL this year. Peyton Manning carried that damn team all these years. When Tom Brady missed the 2008 season the Patriots still won 10 games with Matt Cassell quarterbacking them.

I am a Texans fan.  Robert McNair, a USC letterman and alumni, owns them.  Also, one of our best corners, Jonathan Joseph, just signed with them this season.

I became a Foster fan because he plays for them.  Foster will be in the HOF with Peyton one day if he keeps it up.  Just shows Fulmer had a team of great talented players down with his apathy.

Hopefully they make the right additions in the offseason to get over the hump and make the AFC Championship game next season.

Personally I was always more of a Peyton fan then anything else. But i also liked the way Pulian put together the team with Tony Dungy and what seemed to be a team with good character.

Of course, we all knew one day this day would come and Peyton would no longer be able to play. But something about how so far this desconstruction of the Manning era has gone has put a bad taste in my mouth. It is a classic Irsay move, like moving out of Baltimore in the middle of night. I was really expecting some sort of transitional period like what happened with Unitas. Maybe a period when the new guy had some sort apprenticeship like Arron Rogers has behind Brett Favre. Probably then i would have continued to chear for the Colts the same way i continued to chear for the 49ers when Montana left. But to me firing everyone like this is in bad taste. Personally, Im now going for Eli in New York.

The Colts will turn into the Cleveland Cavaliers when Manning leaves.

They will go from the hottest ticket to crickets chirping until Luck wins a few games.

Who are these Cavaliers of whom you speak?  I don't think I've heard of them...

Peyton Manning could become like Brett Favre except I think he could lead a team like the Redskins or Vikings to the Super Bowl.  Brett was a fumble away from doing that a season before he retired.  I would love to see Peyton on another team or in the NFC, especially if it is in the same division as Eli.  That would be great for the NFL.

Indianapolis Colts are just boring.  Peyton deserves a bigger market on one of the iconic teams of the NFL.
