I follow the Colts because Manning is a graduate of UT, not because the Colts are anything special to me. I have always been a Viking fan because I was born in St Cloud and both my parents are Minnesota graduates. My family is from Minneapolis and Cooperstown ND and I would love for Manning to end his career in Minneapolis. I think he has 3 or more years left if he has recovered from his neck problems. I will follow whatever team he ends up at because I am a UTK graduate.

After a trip to Europe for Stem Cell treatment is he now ready to go? Notice the lack of Peyton in the Manning box last night?

Last night was Eli's night, and Peyton did the right thing and kept the eye of the press off of him. When Indy was going to draft PM I cringed. I still think the Colts org is horrible and PM would have had a much better career elsewhere. He now has a chance to move on and if his neck is healed come out of this smelling like a rose.

The ideal situation IMHO would be for PM to be released and find another team and for Luck to announce he was not going to play for the Colts much as Eli did. The problem is that St. Louis Rams, Minnesota Vikings, Cleveland Browns, Tampa Bay Buccaneers  and the Washington Redskins are not much better orgs. In fact Cleveland and my Vikings maybe worse.

Whoever Peyton goes to will be the team I like most in the NFL. I will still like the Titans and 49ers as well. If Peyton goes to one of those teams, then all the better. I have like the 49ers since the Joe Montana days and I like the Titans because they are the in state franchise, even though they are boring as hell to watch. No NFL team will ever give me the passion of the football Vols though.
